Claressa Shields is in reported talks to make a super fight with Laila Ali happen

But the self-proclaimed GWOAT ("Greatest Woman of All-Time") has other mega bouts on her mind, too — namely an undisputed vs. undisputed clash against Cecilia Braekhus.

On Sunday, Shields and Braekhus jabbed at each other back and forth on Twitter with fiery exchanges.

Among the highlights? Shields flat out doubled down on the claim that Braekhus doesn't want to fight her, adding that the undisputed welterweight champion also begged Shields to unblock her on Twitter.

That escalated to Braekhus alleging that Shields, the undisputed middleweight champion of the world, never made her a good enough offer to walk away from other star-studded fights against the likes of Katie Taylor, Cris Cyborg and Amanda Serrano.

Shields (10-0, 2 KOs) against Braekhus (36-0, 9 KOs) would pit two undefeated undisputed champions against each other, although Shields might be the first fighter to be undisputed champion in two different weight classes by the time it happens.

Shields recently had her bout against Marie-Eve Dicaire postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The fight was supposed to have Shields pitting her WBC and WBO junior middleweight titles against Dicaire's IBF strap. A rescheduled date has yet to be announced.
