Undisputed women's middleweight champion Claressa Shields has shared sparring footage where she faced an internet troll.
Shields returns on July 28, live on DAZN, when she takes on Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse for the WBC women's heavyweight and WBO women's light heavyweight title.
This will be Shields' attempt to win a world title in a fourth and fifth weight class as she continues to cement herself as a women's boxing great.
As she continues preparing for her clash with Lepage-Joanisse, Shields got revenge on an internet troll in a recent sparring session and was quick to mock her performance inside the ring in a post on Instagram.
"I can't believe this punk a—s girl pulled to @hitsvillegym after trolling me for months! And couldn’t last more than 30 seconds," Shields wrote.
"I damn near killed this H03 @official_queen_ofda_ring !!!!! Show up again pussy!"
Shields is not the only boxing star to invite critics to a sparring session. Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder did something similar to Charlie Zelenoff who was quick to walk away from 'The Bronze Bomber'.
