The war of words is underway with Conor Benn sending a warning to Chris Eubank Jr.
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh announced on Wednesday that a deal had been struck for a fight between Benn and Eubank Jr., with a date and location yet to be confirmed.
This fight will reignite one of boxing's most iconic and heated British rivalries, and in a video on Instagram live, Benn promised a violent encounter.
"I am taking Eubank’s head clean off his shoulders," Benn said.
"It’s going to be so brutal, it’s going to be so violent.
"Four rounds, bet your money on four rounds, I’ll take this clown’s head clean off."
After the initial fight in 2022 was cancelled due to an adverse findings in a Benn drugs test, it looked like this much craved matchup would never materialise.
However, the bad blood between Benn and Eubank Jr. has never gone away, and the two clashed in the middle of the ring last October when Eubank Jr. beat Kamil Szeremeta by stoppage.
Now after months of negotiating, Benn and Eubank Jr. will finally have the chance to settle their differences in what will be a huge night for British boxing.
