Eddie Hearn hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Anthony Joshua appearing on the same show as Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn in December.
The Matchroom boss is aiming to make Eubank Jr. vs. Benn on December 23 but with an eagerness to also give Joshua some exposure in the same month, it appears that there’s a chance it could all be on the same show.
Since defeating Robert Helenius in August, Joshua has repeatedly been linked to a mouth-watering contest with Deontay Wilder.
It now looks likely that bout won’t happen until 2024 but with Hearn eager to keep his number one heavyweight active, could he make an appearance on another huge bill later this year?
"We also have a rather large heavyweight called Anthony Joshua who's saying: 'Look, if I'm not fighting Deontay Wilder in January, I would quite like to fight in December as well,’ said Hearn when speaking to BBC Sport
“So, we're trying to work it all out but quite frankly I think it's very unlikely that we don't have a show on 23 December.
"Is it going to feature all of them, is it going to feature one of them? I don't know, but there's a huge desire from both camps of Benn/Eubank to make that fight for 23 December."
