Savannah Marshall has called for a rematch with Claressa Shields to take place at St James' Park, the home of Newcastle United.

After winning all four world titles at super-middleweight this past weekend against Franchon Crews-Dezurn, Marshall immediately set her focus to a second professional meeting with Shields.

Last October, the American fighter travelled to Britain and handed Marshall her first loss as she retained her undisputed status at 160lbs.

Marshall is eager to revisit the rivalry with Shields and she believes she has the perfect venue for the fight after ruling out a trip to Detroit to face Shields in her own backyard.

"I'd love it to be at St James' Park, they're really backing female sport at the minute," said Marshall when speaking to Sky Sports

"I'm not going to Detroit. I think female boxing at the minute is massive in the UK, there's no money in female boxing in the US."

"I'm 32, there's nobody else about in the division. There are definitely things I'd change from the first fight, it was the best Claressa ever.”
