Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora’s thrilling rivalry may not be over yet following an Instagram challenge laid down by the former.
The pair’s terrific heavyweight feud goes back to 2016 when the pair engaged in a thrilling fight that was won by the tightest of margins by Whyte after an unforgettable encounter in Manchester.
Two years later, the pair met again and after another tough bout, it was Whyte who found enough to secure the win as he stopped Chisora in the fight’s penultimate round.
Over four years on, could we see the fighters swap the ring for the octagon?
Whyte is certainly ready to test himself against Chisora for a third time in a different environment.
“I’m trying to fight Ngannou. I want to do it in the UFC and boxing.” said Chisora on Instagram Live when it was announced that UFC heavyweight, Francis Ngannou would be leaving the MMA organisation.
Whyte took to the social media platform with the comment, “I will fight you in MMA Dell.”
Although both fighters have yet to confirm their next move, a cage meeting between the pair would surely be a huge event.
