It's now just hours until the much-anticipated return of Mike Tyson to a boxing ring, when he battles Jake Paul in Texas in the small hours of Friday night.
It will be the first professional bout for the boxing legend since 2005, and much of the build-up to the fight has centred around the health of Tyson, both going into the fight and how he will fair once he steps between the ropes.
The 58-year-old has already had to pull out of the original fight date due to ill health, and speaking ahead of the encounter, UFC President Dana White expressed his concerns about Tyson's decision to make a comeback.
“I will not say anything bad about this fight because I love Mike Tyson. The only thing that I hope is that Mike comes out of this fight healthy,” he told the Jim Rome Show.
At the heart of his concern is Tyson's age, who comes up against Paul, an opponent who's over thirty years his junior.
“I just hope he [Mike Tyson] does [stay safe],” White added.
“At 58 years old, I mean, I’m 55, and obviously, I’ve never been the level of athlete that Mike Tyson is, but 27 vs. 58?
“It’s hard to consistently work out at that age just for health purposes and not get hurt. To train for something like this?
"It’s just, I love Mike. I hope he makes a bunch of money on Friday, and I hope he comes out healthy.”
