A rematch with Joe Joyce does not seem to feature in the immediate plans for Daniel Dubois.
Dubois is on the road to becoming a legitimate threat at heavyweight once more after stopping Jarrell Miller in December on the "Day of Reckoning" card in Saudi Arabia.
Following his victory over the American, Dubois has been frequently expressing his interest in facing some of the biggest names in the heavyweight division, and one fight that would generate huge interest is a second meeting with Joe Joyce.
Dubois was ringside for Hamzah Sheeraz's win over Liam Williams, as was Joyce, and in an interview with iFL TV, Dubois was asked whether he would be interested in facing Joyce in the near future.
"We will build him up, we’ll get him in the future," Dubois responded.
"But right now, I want to go onwards and upwards, and challenge the big names."
Dubois and Joyce went head-to-head four years ago, and it was the latter who emerged victorious after Dubois was forced to take a knee in the tenth round following significant damage to his left eye.
