Darren Till says he will deliver a brutal performance against Tommy Fury when the pair meet next year, promising to "break him in half" when he faces him in Manchester.
The two will headline MF & DAZN: X-Series 20 at Co-op Live on January 18, exclusively on DAZN, as the latter ends a year-plus hiatus from the ring since beating KSI.
It marks the first professional bout of Till's career as a boxer, with the star having previously made his name in mixed martial arts, where he holds an 18-5-1 record.
The press conference to announce the bout was marred by a fracas sparked by John Fury, and speaking afterwards, Till vowed to deliver after a fiery exchange with his foe.
"I'm going to break him in half, that's what I'm going to do," he told The Stomping Ground. "It's me versus them, Darren Till on his own versus them. It's never personal.
"I don't hold any ill towards them. I wish them the best of health. When I want to fight someone, I want to fight. It is what it is, it's part of the game. I've not hate towards them.
"But at the end of the day, this is a fight game week. You come prepared or you don't, and I've prepared. If it's on, it's on. That's just how it is."
Till will have his work cut out against Fury even with the latter's lengthy lay-off, as the younger man bids to extend his perfect record in the ring from ten professional fights.
