Darren Till impresses on Misfits debut before calling out Tommy Fury and KSIMisfits Boxing

Darren Till’s first flirt with Misfits was a successful one as the Liverpool fighter was able to get past Anthony Taylor in six rounds following an eventful fight at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.

The former UFC star was originally set to face Tommy Fury, but that bout was called off after the latter pulled out following Till’s threat to kick him.

Instead, Taylor had to settle for Taylor and although the American boxer could not bring the profile possessed by Fury, he was ready to bring action.

After a bad-tempered weigh-in on the eve of the bout, expectations were high for this contest and both men entered the ring intent on victory.

Till began the fight impressively as he used his superior size and reach to build a sizeable advantage over Taylor.

His dominance in the contest became even more apparent in round four when Till landed a huge uppercut that put Taylor on his back.

Taylor returned well in the next stanza as a huge right hand caused considerable damage to Till’s nose and it also slowed his momentum.

Any hint of a comeback was quickly extinguished as Till entered round six determined to make an impact and after dropping Taylor two more times, the bout was called off.

In the post-fight interview, Till called out Fury and also laid down a challenge to KSI.
