Former UFC star Darren Till is preparing for a new chapter in his fighting career this weekend.
The Liverpudlian will be making his boxing debut live on DAZN when he takes on Anthony Taylor in the main event of X Series 20 in Manchester.
Till was originally set to face Tommy Fury, but the latter pulled out of the contest following threats from Till to break the rules of boxing if the fight was not going his way.
If Till successfully gets past Taylor, it may continue to tempt MMA stars into the boxing ring for what could be career high pay days, and when speaking to Betfred, Till would like to see a former UFC champion to join the Misfits Boxing roster.
“I think the likes of Israel Adesanya and some of my other rivals in the UFC," Till said.
"Even though I didn’t get to fight them, I’d love to see them come over to boxing and we can have a little mix up here. It all depends on how it goes. It’s all got to align.”
While Till is eager to see Adesanya step into the squared circle, boxing does not appear to be at the forefront of "The Last Stylebender's" mind.
Instead, Adesanya is preparing to end a two-fight losing streak when he faces Nassourdine Imavov at a UFC Fight Night event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
