Deontay Wilder answers whether he's a bigger puncher than Mike TysonDAZN

Deontay Wilder has no doubt whatsoever that he’s a much bigger puncher than Mike Tyson after recently being asked the question.

Wilder’s incredible rise to the business end of the heavyweight division has been an impressive one that highlighted the Alabama man’s incredible power, and the former WBC world champion is well aware of just how devastating his main weapon is.

In three fights against Tyson Fury, Wilder’s power was able to drop the much heavier man four times, but he couldn’t find the follow up to ensure victory went his way.

Now looking to reclaim the heavyweight crown, Wilder is back in training, and when discussing his role as one the division's all-time punchers, Wilder was quick to back himself.

“It’s me. That is not even an argument no more, come on," said Wilder when speaking with ES News

"It’s me, it’s me, it’s not arguable, and there is nothing wrong with that.

"Like I told Mike, as history unfolds, they say that it repeats itself, but it is supposed to be better than the past history. There is nothing wrong with that, because I love all the old-school fighters that came forward, like I told Mike, that is how it is supposed to be.”
