Deontay Wilder has been linked to a fight with Anthony Joshua in recent weeks, but the American heavyweight is looking further ahead as he still believes he has plenty of time left in boxing.
The former WBC champion has not fought in 2023 but there’s wide speculation that he could face Joshua, his long-time rival, early in 2024.
Wilder lost his world heavyweight title in 2020 when he was stopped by Tyson Fury and efforts to regain the belt were dashed when he was once again beaten by Fury the following year in a classic encounter.
Despite a long career with several tough fights on his ledger, Wilder doesn’t plan on going anywhere just yet.
“I think I’ve got three more years left,” said Wilder when speaking on Frenzee Broadcasting.
“I’m gonna bless the world my last three years with some of the best fights they ever seen, the people they want. As long as they don’t run. We got them.”
