Deontay Wilder returns to the site of his most recent defeat as he faces Zhilei Zhang this weekend, and the American heavyweight hopes to get back to basics.

Wilder was defeated by Joseph Parker in December at Riyadh's Kingdom Arena, the same venue in which he and Zhang will headline Saturday's massive Queensberry vs. Matchroom card.

The 38-year-old feels things will be different this time around as he has changed his approach.

Speaking to Boxing News, Wilder explained his state of mind ahead of Saturday's bout.

"I'm highly confident in what I'm capable of doing," Wilder said. "I say the Bronze Bomber's back, but Saturday we will see, and everyone that's watching will be the witness of that.

"I'm in a surrounding of people that loved me being a savage, love me being who I am, the Bronze Bomber. And when you're working with people that just want you to be you and no more 'Mr. Nice Guy,' it makes it exciting. It makes me happy.

"I'm looking forward to it, I'm looking forward to deliver. I didn't deliver the last time but I'm looking forward to rewriting my wrongs and correcting them and making them right."
