Tyson Fury has already had to postpone his undisputed world heavyweight title fight against Oleksandr Uysk once due to a cut over his eye, and Derek Chisora believes it could become the focal point of Usyk's attack when the men meet Saturday in Riyadh (live on DAZN PPV).

Fury vs. Usyk was originally scheduled for February, but the WBC champion sustained a laceration in training that forced the postponement of the highly anticipated bout. Chisora thinks the injury could still be an issue for his fellow Briton despite the amount of time that has passed, and he posited that Usyk will center his strategy on the cut.

Speaking to Crypto Casino LTD, two-time heavyweight title challenger Chisora explained that the now-healed injury could cause hesitation by Fury, giving Usyk an advantage.

“I want the British man to win 100 percent, but if you're a betting man you'd have to think: this is the cut he had against Otto Wallin [in 2019] and it's going to come back again," Chisora said.

"I think Tyson is going to have to box on his back foot. But then again he might drop Usyk with an uppercut.”

“The cut could play a big factor in the fight. Has that massive cut managed to properly heal? It can make sparring difficult, you’d be cautious to open it up again. It’s a predicament.

"While Usyk is doing everything the right way, is Tyson doing his camp at 85 percent of what he would have been doing before he got the cut? Only his close team will know. Usyk is undoubtedly going to be targeting that cut."
