Derek Chisora and Kubrat Pulev have both weighed in for their heavyweight encounter and the British fighter was once again full of surprises as he entered the stage wearing a Boris Johnson mask.
Chisora lent his support for the departing Prime Minister at yesterday’s press conference, and he took that a step further by sporting his mask for the weigh in.
The all-action pair face off on Saturday night, exclusively live on DAZN (except Australia, New Zealand and France), in a return from their 2016 meeting where the Bulgarian was victorious on points when competing for European honours.
After yesterday’s publicity events where security had to separate both fighters, a big anticipation greeted the final head-to-head, but it was a low-key affair apart from Chisora’s attire. The home fighter hit the scales at 258lbs which was 8lbs heavier than Pulev, who was 250lbs.
The pair headline at the O2 Arena in London this weekend and their fight tops a bill that also sees Israil Madrimov face Michel Soro in a rematch from last year, and the latest steps in the careers of Felix Cash and Fabio Wardley.
