Devin Haney can’t afford to look past Regis Prograis this Saturday night as he aims to become world champion in a second weight class.
Haney enters the bout a betting favourite against the New Orleans man and victory could set him up for even bigger fights in 2024, against the likes of Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia and Teofimo Lopez.
After holding all four belts at 135lbs and competing against huge names such as Jorge Linares and Vasiliy Lomachenko, Haney is still hungry for more.
With a ton of possibilities available if he can secure victory against Prograis, who does Haney believe is the biggest fight available to him moving forward?
“Tank Davis,” said Haney, reported Boxing Scene when the Las Vegas based fighter was speaking to the media.
“I think that’s the biggest fight in boxing, to be real. You know, we all know what kinda draw he is. You know, we know what kinda draw I’m becoming, and I think it’s a huge fight.”
