Former world super middleweight champion Carl Froch has made his prediction ahead of Saturday's fight between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia.
The contest, which will be shown live on DAZN PPV, will see Haney make the first defence of WBC super lightweight title against an opponent who he has faced on six occasions in the amateur ranks.
With Haney and Garcia having three wins apiece, this first meeting as professionals would give either fighter an edge in what has turned into an intense rivalry.
When it comes to the fight itself, Froch believes one fighter will dominate the contest at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
“Good fight, great fight, I think Devin Haney is going to be too much for him,” Froch said on his Froch on Fighting YouTube channel.
Froch followed up this prediction with an opinion on how Garcia has conducted himself on social media ahead of the fight.
“He’s been acting very strange and trying to go on social media and drum up interest. He’s saying some mad things," Froch continued.
"His head went and he went too much over the top on social media and I hope he’s going to be ok but I think Devin Haney is going to be too much for him, I think he is a level above him."
