'I'm not the postman!' - Dmitry Bivol sends off for 'revenge' in Artur Beterbiev rematch

'I'm not the postman!' - Dmitry Bivol sends off for 'revenge' in Artur Beterbiev rematchMark Robinson/Matchroom Boxing

Dmitry Bivol joked that he is "not the postman" as he kept messages to a minimum and promised "revenge" before his undisputed light-heavyweight rematch with Artur Beterbiev.

The former WBA world champion will bid to become the division's unquestioned ruler again at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View on February 22.

The star lost a majority decision in the pair's first encounter last October, despite many believing Bivol did enough to topple unified champion Beterbiev at the Kingdom Arena.

Speaking in London ahead of next month's blockbuster encounter though, the 34-year-old outlined his ambitions for the contest, stating it is about more than the belts now.

"This is a good chance for me," he said. "I know people liked the first fight and they wanted to see the second fight. I want to be the winner of this second fight.

"Before, I wanted so much to have these belts and nothing else. But today, I don't just want the belts, I want revenge. I want to fix what I did before, and I want to win.

"It's not only about belts now. I need to change enough to prove that I'm better. I need to add more action. We have already changed a little bit with our training camp.

"Now, I'm working on myself. I want to be better, I want to be perfect, and I'm trying to be. I don't believe too much in luck. I believe luck will come to people who work a lot.

"I work on it, and I become lucky. Luck will not come without work. I don't have any messages. I'm not the postman. I will come to the ring and we will talk with action."
