Dmitry Bivol believes victory in his undisputed light heavyweight rematch with Artur Beterbiev is "the final step" for his career achievements as he eyes revenge against his rival.

The ex-WBA champion suffered a first career loss last October, but has the chance to sweep all four belts at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.

Ahead of this Saturday's bout at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, Bivol is seeking to inflict a maiden reverse on Beterbiev too after a taut, tough first encounter last time out.

On what it would mean to achieve undisputed status in an era where few men have held all four belts in any division, the star acknowledges it would represent a personal peak.

"I hope I can give a better performance than I did before, and I believe I can be the winner of this fight," he told The Stomping Ground

"To become undisputed would mean I've done well. It's the final step in this weight class, and the proof for myself. I'm happy that I have this chance.

"I didn't like [how I performed that night]. There was some doubt inside of my head. I want to win without doubt. [His Excellency Turki Alalshikh] asked about a rematch.

"I said yes. He told me he had this date, and I said OK. I could have won that fight without doubts. I know these thoughts help me to be more focused."

At DAZN's Face-Off before the fight, Beterbiev refused to shake hands with Bivol at the end of their round-table discussion, but the latter is taking the snub in his stride too.

"[We did not shake hands] because his character is like this," he added. "He does not shake hands with opponents.

"I'm shaking hands with my opponents. We're just different. Everybody is different, and it's fine."
