Eddie Hearn has revealed that he will be making an offer to Gervonta Davis to face Conor Benn after the pair engaged in social media conflict.
Benn had his first outing of 2024 earlier this month and he went 12 rounds against the durable Peter Dobson in an effort that he hopes will be the platform for bigger fights.
Benn’s name is constantly linked to huge British names such as Chris Eubank Jr and Kell Brook, but he’s also captured the attention of big American fighters.
Adrien Broner is one fighter who’s interested in a fight with Benn, but it appears that Hearn, Benn’s promoter, is aiming even higher by trying to get Davis.
“I’ve spoken to Gervonta personally and he'll be receiving an offer from us today for that fight,” said Hearn when speaking to Matchroom.
“I think it’s a huge fight. Could happen in the U.K., but we’re looking, I think, in America for that.”
