Eddie Hearn believes that John Ryder is in the frame to face Jaime Munguia next.
The super-middleweight contender has earned many plaudits in recent years thanks to wins over Danny Jacobs and Zach Parker along with spirited losing efforts against Callum Smith and Canelo Alvarez.
Munguia is looking to secure a huge fight at 168lbs with Canelo his ultimate target and a dominant win over Ryder could get him closer to that shot.
A former world title holder at super-welterweight, Munguia has answered all questions expected of him, and Hearn is of the opinion that his man could be at the front of the queue to face Munguia.
“It looks like Munguia might fight John Ryder actually,” said Hearn when speaking to J Calderon Boxing Talk.
