It looks like Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn will put their stable of fighters against each other this year.
The event, rumoured to be taking place on June 1, will see both promoters each pick five fighters from their company and see who comes out on top in what promises to be a terrific five fight series.
Working together on several big events, the partnership between Hearn and Warren, Britain’s two biggest promoters, is expected to deliver a number of huge fights.
When the pair sat down for an interview with DAZN recently, Hearn was asked who he’d like to promote from Warren’s group, and he picked an explosive fighter.
“I like Nick Ball,” said Hearn. “Very entertaining Scouse fighter and he’s going to get his shot soon. I like watching Nick Ball.”
