Eddie Hearn is excited at the prospect of Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia, but he does not believe the latter is the hardest test for Haney.
Hearn has a lengthy history with Haney, and he’ll be supporting the current WBC 140lbs champion when he defends his belt against Garcia in April.
Last year, Haney was pushed all the way by Vasiliy Lomachenko with many believing the Ukrainian had done enough.
A rematch between the talented pair has since been speculated, and Hearn thinks Lomachenko will always be a hard night for Haney.
"I think Lomachenko will always be his toughest fight,” said Hearn when speaking to Fight Hub.
“Ryan has a good style to fight Devin. He’s very reactive, he’s very fast, and he can punch. He’s in his prime.”
