Eddie Hearn believes Anthony Joshua’s recent run of regular activity has got the former world champion back to his best.
Joshua’s career appeared to have some uncertainty surrounding it following back-to-back losses against current division ruler, Oleksandr Usyk.
Comeback wins against Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou have rejuvenated Joshua and he has a big fight coming up.
Joshua will face Daniel Dubois for the IBF world title on September 21, and victory will make him a three-time world champion.
Hearn, Joshua’s promoter since day one, has recently spoken about his fighter and his journey back to the top.
“Those four fights in 11 months really helped to reinvigorate and rekindle his love for the sport,” said Hearn when speaking to DAZN.
“And now he comes back as the challenger, that's a different kind of mentality. Couple it with the influence of Ben Davison and AJ being very comfortable in himself.”
