Eddie Hearn believes Andy Cruz will be back in action by the end of 2024 as he continues his swift ascent up the rankings.
The outstanding amateur, a gold medal victror at both the World Championships and Olympics, turned pro last year and is currently 4-0 with two early finishes.
The Cuban star is eager to test himself at the highest level and it appears likely that he’ll get his wish at some point in 2025.
For now, his development in the paid code will continue, and Hearn has spoken about when fight fans can expect to see him again.
“You’re going to see him hopefully at the end of the year. He’s ready now for the top guys,” said Hearn when speaking to FightHype.
“I think he’s had a very fast rise in terms of his professional experience. He looks great with Bozy Ennis, but now, try to focus on a world title.”
