Eddie Hearn reveals who Jake Paul should face next after Anderson Silva winDAZN

Eddie Hearn was impressed with Jake Paul's win over Anderson Silva on Saturday night.

Paul and Silva went head-to-head in Glendale, Arizona this past weekend and the YouTuber turned boxer dominated, knocking down Silva in round eight before securing the victory via a unaminous decision.

When asked to give his thoughts to The DAZN Boxing Show about Paul's exploits, Hearn claimed that he saw improvements in 'The Problem's Child's' ability, but now he wants to see what the American can do against an outright boxer.

"I haven’t seen the fight, I’ve only seen the knockdown, but I think you have to give him credit," Hearn said.

"Yes, he’s not fighting any real boxers yet, and yes Anderson Silva was 48, but it’s still an opponent for your sixth fight of a level where most prospects are fighting at.

"I think Jake is improving, he’s working hard, he does a lot of things wrong in the ring, but he’s not a boxer, he hasn’t been boxing for years and years.

"Now Jake really has to fight a boxer. He’s never going to the credit that he maybe wants or deserves until he actually fights a professional boxer. I believe he wants to do that; I’m guessing he will do that next."

DAZN's Akin Reyes then went onto ask Hearn who he would want Paul to face next if he was promoting the 25-year-old and the Matchroom boss responded with a simple answer: "Someone that he wouldn’t lose against."
