Sivenathi Nontshinga produced a stunning 10th round knockout to become two-time world champion on Friday night.

After losing the IBF light flyweight title to Adrian Curiel in November, Nontshinga faced the Mexican for a second time and struggled for the majority of the fight with Curiel constantly looking to get on the front foot.

However, come the 10th round of the contest, Nontshinga managed to turn it around and stopped the defending champion.

Now promoter Eddie Hearn is eager to make a fight between Nontshinga and former flyweight world champion Sunny Edwards if the British star is able to drop down a weight division.

"If Sunny Edwards can make light flyweight, a chance to become a two-weight world champion, Sunny vs. Nontshinga is a big fight," Hearn told Matchroom Boxing's YouTube channel

"It’s a very good fight as well, Nontshinga has proved himself time and time again.

"I want to see him do that or unify and get those big nights he deserves."

Edwards last fought in December when he came up short in a IBF and WBO world flyweight unification title fight against Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez.
