Edgar Berlanga's first defence of his WBO NABO super middleweight title came against the experienced Steve Rolls.
In the build-up to the fight, Berlanga was on the hunt for the knockout, however, with Rolls managing to land the jab during the 10-round contest, the American was unable to produce the power punches which made him an exciting prospect.
The fight went the full distance and Berlanga was declared the winner on the judges' scorecards, but while many were dissapointed about Berlanga not getting the stoppage, the experience of going the distance on multiple occasions could prove vital in his world title pursuit.
