The two meet for three world super middleweight titles in Las Vegas.

Edgar Berlanga is not fazed by the threat which Saul "Canelo" Alvarez poses ahead of their meeting in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

The pair will meet for Alvarez's WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight titles live on DAZN, and for Berlanga, this is no doubt the biggest fight of his career.

Berlanga turned professional in 2016 and garnered plenty of attention with 16 successive knockout finishes, and his power continues to be a difference with his last fight against Padraig McCrory back in February ending in a sixth round knockout win for the Puerto Rican.

Alvarez has in the past shared the ring with some of boxing's hardest punchers, including Gennadiy Golovkin and Sergey Kovalev, but Berlanga claims that the Mexican will not have faced the punch power that he possesses before.

"I truly believe he’s never been hit before by a person like me," Berlanga told DAZN

"When I hit somebody, I make them think about boxing."

Alvarez's 65-fight resume is not short of knockout finishes either with the Mexican often winning contests with one his hard hitting shots to the body which make the boxing world stand up and take notice.

However, Berlanga is confident that he can withstand any power from Alvarez and detailed why his preparation has played a major part in this.

"Yeah, I spar heavyweights bro, he’s not the only guy who is going to hit me hard," Berlanga continued.

"I’ve got hit before, and I know I’ve got a chin. I got hit before and I spar heavyweights, and I’ve knocked heavyweights out in sparring, and that’s a fact.

"I know he’s not going to pitty pat me, so I’ve got to be alert."
