BOX FEST IX takes place on Cinco de Mayo weekend, with Edward Vazquez taking on Daniel Bailey in the main event tonight.
Vazquez returns to the ring for the first time since losing to Joe Cordina in a bout for the IBF world super featherweight championship in November. That fight saw Vazquez and Cordina go the distance for 12 rounds, but this bout will be an eight-round affair.
His opponent, Bailey, enters on a three-fight win streak. Bailey's most recent outing came in March, when he defeated Jerson Ortiz with a fifth-round stoppage.
