"The Truth" is Errol Spence Jr. is the "Big Fish" of the welterweight division ... until proven otherwise.
The unified welterweight world champion has overcome a horrific one-car crash in October 2019 and retinal detachment in his left eye in August 2021 to prove he's still at the top of his fighting game as one of boxing's most formidable performers and one capable of imposing his will on opponents with power and skills.
DAZN takes a look at Spence's record below.

Biggest wins
Errol Spence wins first world title; May 27, 2017
Kell Brook proved resilient but Spence's buffet of body shots paved the way to softening up the British fighter enough to produce an emphatic 11th-round knockout and reward "The Truth" with his first world title, the IBF welterweight championship. The fact that Spence did it in Brook's home of Sheffield made it all the more savory for Spence.
Proving there are levels against Mikey Garcia; March 16, 2019
Mikey Garcia dared to be great by vacating his lightweight world title and moving up two weight classes to challenge Spence, the IBF welterweight titleholder. What Garcia received instead was his first loss in what was a lopsided battering courtesy of Spence, who won by a unanimous decision at a packed AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Spence records biggest win to date; September 28, 2019
Shawn Porter put Spence through choppy waters behind his vaunted rugged style.
However, Spence uncorked a huge left hook across Porter's jaw in the 11th round to change the complexion of the fight. The heavy-handed power shot buckled Porter's knees as he put a glove to the canvas for a registered knockdown.
Spence rode the knockdown to victory as two of the three judges inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles saw him as the split-decision winner. Spence became the unified IBF/WBC welterweight world champion as a result and proved he is the "Big Fish" at 147 pounds.
Spence adds welterweight hardware to his mantle; April 16, 2022
With critics still wanting to see if Spence had rebounded fully from his detached retina suffered months prior, "The Truth" laid into Yordenis Ugas with an unrelenting attack.
Power shots caused Ugas' right eye to swell up enough for a ringside physician to stop the bout, resulting in a 10th-round TKO and for Spence to add the WBA welterweight title to his collection.
Spence can add the WBO title and relish in undisputed glory with a victory over Terence Crawford on July 29.
