Errol Spence Jr. has little time for Blair Cobbs after his defeat to Alexis Rocha.
Cobbs spent time last week discussing his plans to fight and chances against bigger names in the welterweight division, only to lose to Mexican fighter Rocha.
One of the fighters under discussion was Spence, and speaking to the DAZN Boxing Show, the two-belt champion could not help but have a dig at his fellow 147lb-er.
“Everyone’s talking about him: who’s Blair Cobbs?” he asked.
“I think he needs to pay more attention. He had a fight that week, you shouldn't be paying attention to other fighters, doing this, doing that.
“Even when I have a fight - I know I’m going to beat this fighter - I don’t speak on other fighters. I gotta get past them first, then I’ll worry about him.
“I’m not going to be talking about five, six, seven other fighters. He was being cocky, talking off the wall stuff. Look what happened to him. You’re not even a contender, you’re a prospect, you’re a 33-year-old prospect. He got stopped by that guy, he’s been quiet on social media.”
