Florian Marku is eager to face Conor Benn, but he was not too impressed by his recent win over Peter Dobson.
Marku is back in action on March 31 when he takes on Chris Kongo in London on the undercard of Fabio Wardley vs. Frazer Clarke.
While Marku may not be someone who could challenge for a world title, he is a fighter with a huge fan base and is often linked with marquee British names.
One of those is Benn and now Marku wants that fight against him more than ever.
"Now I think more than ever after the things they have been saying about him," Marku told iFL TV when asked about the prospect of a fight with Benn.
"I’m happy for him that he’s clear, I saw his fight with the American guy.
"I was not impressed, I also think that the opponent was awkward, but that is a fight which in the future can be made in the UK or USA, I have fans wherever in the world."
