The former world champion seems content to stay in exhibition events.

Floyd Mayweather has denied that he will come back to professional boxing after his exhibition with Logan Paul.

The pair fought to the conclusion of their eight-round event on Sunday night with neither declared a winner due to the regulations of the bout, but at 44 there are often suggestions that 44-year-old Mayweather may make a return to the ring in a competitive setting.

‘Money’ last fought for his record when he recorded 50 fights and 50 wins with a win over Conor McGregor, who crossed over from UFC in 2017. He then fought the following year in an exhibition against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

Speaking after his fight against Paul. Mayweather was dismissive of the notion that he might make a return.

“And I’m not coming back to the sport of boxing, absolutely not. I did what I had to do, I made my mark on the sport,” he explained.

“I got all my faculties, made a ton of money. Hey money ain’t everything, well, I know we got to eat food everyday, to survive so we can live longer, and that takes money.

“So to me, it looks like money is everything but one thing money can’t come between, not between me and my children, I love them unconditionally.”
