Despite confrmation that Floyd Mayweather will no longer take on YouTube star Logan Paul in what was likely to be a hugely one-sided boxing exhibition on Feb. 20, the ring great is already looking at other opponents for potential sideshow fights.
Logan's brother Jake, who is set to return to the boxing ring against MMA star Ben Askren, is someone Mayweather has claimed to be open to battling in a non-sanctioned attraction. Also in his crosshairs is rapper 50 Cent, with whom he has had a long-standing feud.
And Tokyo, Japan made a good enough impression on the 50-0 Mayweather to make him want to head back out. He trounced Tenshin Nasukawa in a lucrative appearance for RIZIN on New Year's Eve 2018.
"This year I will focus on several exhibitions. I will have an exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, again," said Mayweather on Instagram.
"Of course the one with Logan Paul and I; and if Jake Paul can get past his next opponent Ben Askren, I will have an exhibition with him as well.
"I also heard that 50 Cent would fight me but claims I'm too small. If he wants to lace up at the end of the year, we can do an exhibition then.
"I don't care about weight class with any of these guys.
"The Paul brothers will make great money with the events, but with 50 Cent it has to be 'winner takes all'."
In a later post, Mayweather also went off on Jake, who has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way including Askren, as well as Conor McGregor, and more with his over-the-top baiting.
“Jake Paul is talking about he don't do exhibitions, them two bulls—t boxing matches he had were exhibitions," said Mayweather. “They were not against real professional boxers.
“And I don’t even play when it comes to education because millions of blacks got lynched just for reading.
“Let me see, you went to get a black boxing trainer, try to dress like you're black, wear jewelry like black people, try to dance like black people, but you don't want to be BLACK.
“All you do is jack black swag from us. You go from groupie fan to a fake professional fighter, this world is crazy.”
