Floyd Mayweather searching for new opponent for British exhibition

Floyd Mayweather searching for new opponent for British exhibitionDAZN

Floyd Mayweather will compete in the U.K. for the first time when he partakes in an exhibition bout on February 25 at London’s O2 Arena.

Mayweather has long toyed with the idea of competing in the U.K., and now the former five-weight world champion has made good on his word as he makes his British debut next month

Since retiring from professional boxing in 2017 following a late stoppage over UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, Mayweather has competed in several exhibition bouts.

His rage of opponents has stretched from martial artist to YouTubers with Logan Paul perhaps the most high profile of all those who've competed against him.

Mayweather’s name is constantly linked to numerous money-spinning fights against the likes of Jake Paul, KSI, plus rematches with McGregor and Manny Pacquiao.

The Michigan boxer had been set to face British kickboxer, Liam Harrison, but that bout became impossible when Harrison announced he was recovering from a knee injury.

Mayweather announced the event on his social media channels.
