Floyd Mayweather Jr. could make a remarkable return to boxing by fighting YouTube personality Logan Paul, according to reports.
The 43-year-old last fought professionally against MMA fighter Conor McGregor, to extend his record to 50-0.
He has been linked with professional comebacks regularly but nothing has materialized, but now an exhibition match appears to be in the works.
Mayweather did make an exhibition appearance in December 2018 against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, which brought a comfortable victory, and he appears ready for another promotional fight.
Reports of an agreement between Mayweather and Paul emerged when another prominent YouTube celebrity, Keemstar, tweeted that a fight was on the cards.
In addition, journalist Mike Feinberg reported that a deal had been signed by Mayweather, saying: "I've got some breaking news for you. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is coming out of retirement and has just officially signed a contract to fight in an exhibition match against YouTube sensation Logan Paul.”
