Terence Crawford enhanced his impressive legacy earlier this month with a solid points win over Israil Madrimov.
The victory ensured he became a four-weight world champion and there's talk he could jump higher in weight to face Canelo Alvarez after the Mexican icon takes on Edgar Berlanga, live on DAZN, on September 14.
With Crawford almost certain of entering the Boxing Hall of Fame at the end of his career thanks to dominant showings in four weight classes, his name is starting to be attached to the great fighters who came before him.
Asked who’d win a fight between himself and Floyd Mayweather, the Nebraska fighter was quick to back himself.
“Me. Man, me,” said Crawford when appearing on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast when asked about the outcome of Crawford vs. Mayweather in 2023.
“Me vs. anybody, I’mma always say me.”
