Otto Wallin is backing Anderson Silva to cause a minor shock when he faces Jake Paul this Saturday night.
The popular YouTuber returns to the ring for the first time in almost a year as he faces former UFC star, Anderson Silva.
Paul begins the bout a slight favourite but Wallin, a highly ranked heavyweight contender, is backing Silva to upset the odds.
Still waiting for a meaningful fight after having his 2021 meeting with Dillian Whyte postponed, Wallin has done well to remain relevant as he looks to secure a marquee fight at the business end of the heavyweight division.
Linked to numerous names such as Whyte once more and Anthony Joshua, Wallin’s patience has not yet been rewarded, but he’s still got his eye on the sport despite enduring frustrations and he’s backing Silva to emerge victorious this weekend.
"I think it's hard to know what to expect,” said Wallin when speaking to Rekatochklart.
“I used to watch Anderson Silva a lot when I was younger, back when he was in the UFC. I always used to watch his fights and stuff, but now he's 47 years old. He's a lot older than Jake Paul."
“I think Anderson Silva (will win). He's a pretty good fighter, so it should be a good fight. It's hard to pick a winner, I got to be honest, but I'm really hoping for Silva to win because of how I used to like him a lot when I was younger. I guess it's going to be interesting to see what happens."
