Former world champion says Tyson Fury confronted him over Oleksandr Usyk predictionTop Rank
Tyson Fury faces Oleksandr Usyk in just a few weeks.

George Groves is very confident that Oleksandr Usyk will beat Tyson Fury next month and he’s admitted that Fury spoke to him about his prediction.

Groves, a former world super-middleweight champion, can often be heard speaking about the sport he participated in and he’s looking forward to next month’s undisputed heavyweight clash.

Fury and Usyk are both heading to Saudi Arabia and the world will finally find out who the number one heavyweight is.

Fury enters the bout a small favourite, but his recent performance against Francis Ngannou has raised many questions.

Groves is fully behind his Usyk prediction, and he’s revealed the details of his brief encounter with Fury.

“I think he’s in better form, I’m going against the natural size of Fury, and I’m picking Usyk. I think he wins quite comfortably,” said Grives when speaking to Grosvenor Casinos

“Fury pulled me backstage once and he said ‘Hey, why are you picking Usyk to win’ and I said ‘Tyson, someone’s got to pick him’.”
