Former world champion who hasn't fought for three years ready to make major British rematch

One fighter could return against an old rival.

Billy Joe Saunders is ready to reignite his feud with Chris Eubank Jr almost a decade after their first meeting.

In 2014, Saunders was able to inflict defeat on Eubank Jr as they met in a high-profile grudge match that was ultimately settled by Saunders' good start in the fight.

Despite the victory, a second meeting between the pair has often been speculated and it appears that now could be the right time to make the contest.

Saunders has not fought in over three years since losing to Canelo Alvarez, but could Eubank Jr be the man to make him get back in the ring?

“Everyone knows it’s going to be me and Eubank. Eubank knows that he’s going to end up fighting me,” said Saunders when speaking to Boxnation

“I know if I come back, I’m going to end up fighting him. We will settle our differences in the ring, rather than on Instagram or in interviews.”
