Devin Haney’s next move is still unconfirmed, but the California fighter has been busy making changes to his team ahead of his return.
Earlier this year, Haney endured a hard night against Ryan Garcia when he was dropped three times before losing on the scorecards.
Haney’s blushes were later spared when the result was changed to ‘No Contest’ after it was revealed that Garcia had failed a drugs test.
Still a leading fighter at 140lbs, Haney is expected partake in some huge events in 2025, and there’s work going on behind the scenes to ensure there’s improvements.
Bey, who’s been part of Haney’s camps in the past, is a former world champion who was once based at Floyd Mayweather’s Las Vegas gym.

Haney is speculated to be facing Garcia in a rematch at some point next year, but there’s also other high-profile fights against the likes of Teofimo Lopez and Gervonta Davis that could happen.
His new trainer has already begun work and after spending several sessions together, Bey is impressed with what he’s seen so far.
“Oh, yeah, I’m back training him. Man, he’s already looking good, refreshed,” said Bey when speaking to BoxingScene .
“I think he needed a little break, to be honest, because he hasn’t had one since turning pro. He’s been steady fight after fight after fight.
“I’m real impressed with what I’m seeing already. He’s going to be super sharp for his next fight.”
