Frank Warren believes Daniel Dubois still wants a rematch with Joe Joyce.
Joyce fights Derek Chisora on ESPN+ ( in the US, click here for details ) on Saturday night looking to kick on from a recent win over Kash Ali.
Dubois meanwhile fights on September 21 against Anthony Joshua ( live on DAZN ) to defend his IBF heavyweight belt.
As well as Oleksandr Usyk, Joyce is the only man to have beaten Dubois, with a heavy-handed display that left the beaten man with a fractured eye socket.
Dubois evidently wants the chance to avenge the defeat he suffered in 2020.
His promoter Warren told BoxingScene : “I know that Joe would like the fight again – Joe would fancy it again – and Daniel would like to reverse the loss. It’s a no-brainer.
“[Dubois has] told me in the past he wanted to have the fight. They both want it. They’d both like to do it, and more importantly they’d get well paid for it.”
