Frazer Clarke is approaching the biggest fight of his career as he gets ready to battle for the British title.
Next Sunday, Clarke will look to capture the Lonsdale heavyweight belt when he faces Fabio Wardley, and the Olympic bronze medalist has spoken about what will get him onto the right frame of mind as fight week gets underway.
Since making his professional bow, Clarke has long been focusing on an opportunity such as this one in front of him and only Wardley can stop him from becoming national champion.
Clarke’s targets go far beyond the domestic scene, but his immediate attention will be placed on the Ipswich man and securing victory on Easter Sunday.
“Before I switch into final gear, we have a bit of Braveheart on, little bit of Kickboxer, maybe a bit of Dragon Ball Z,” said Clarke when speaking in his Metro column.
“The battle scenes from Lord of the Rings get me going. But it is only when I step foot in that changing room on the night do I switch into that final gear.”
