MARSEILLE V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE -  20:00 – NOV 1

After an eventful fifth round of fixtures, Group D is now wide open, with all four teams in with a chance of making it through to the Knockout Phase.

Tottenham need a point to make it through to the last 16 after a VAR decision denied them a late goal against Sporting Lisbon, whilst nothing short of a victory will do for the French side.

It is difficult to pick which way this one will eventually go, but one thing that does stand out is that ten of the thirteen goals scored in Marseille’s matches in the Champions League this season have come in the first half, whilst five of the seven goals scored in Tottenham’s last two European outings have also occurred in the opening 45 minutes.

Marseille will need to push for a result from the start, and this should lead to an exciting encounter at the Stade Velodrome. We will be hoping for a high scoring encounter with at least a couple of goals during the opening phase of the match.

Traders’ Tip: Over 1.5 First Half Goals @ 7/4. A £10 bet at these odds could return £27.50.

CHELSEA V  DINAMO ZAGREB - UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – 20:00 – NOV 2

Chelsea have already secured their spot at the top of Group E and have the ability to make changes when they face Dinamo Zagreb at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.

The Blues secured their passage to the next stage with a 2-1 victory in Austria last Tuesday, meaning they have the option to rest some key players ahead of their showdown with Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The visitors have the opportunity to complete an unlikely double over the West London club, and could still qualify for the Europa League knockout round play-offs if they manage to pull off a victory here coupled with a Milan victory over Salzburg.

Given that the Croatian side have a lot more to play for when the two teams meet, we fancy their chances of causing an upset against an under strength Chelsea side.

Traders’ Tip: Dinamo Zagreb to win @ 15/2. A £10 bet at these odds could return £85.

DMITRY BIVOL V GILBERTO RAMIREZ – WBA WORLD LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – APPROX 22:00 – NOV 5

Abu Dhabi and DAZN are the places to be for boxing on Saturday night with Dmitry Bivol vs Gilberto Ramirez headlining at the Etihad Arena.

Bivol surprised many fans when he defeated Canelo Alvarez by unanimous decision back in May, moving to 20-0 following that success. He will be desperate to avoid being on the receiving end of a similar fate when he faces off against Gilberto Ramirez this weekend.

Ramirez might be seen as the underdog here but his record of 44 wins without facing defeat shows that he is likely to be a tough nut to crack. He made the step up from super middleweight to light heavyweight a couple of years ago, and has since won four straight bouts inside the distance.

It would be fair to say that Bivol is the better fighter of the two, but even though Ramirez might not be as quick or technical as Bivol, it could be argued that he does have the power advantage over his upcoming opponent.

This bout might be a lot closer than many are anticipating, and it wouldn’t come as too much of a shock to us if Ramirez ended up taking Bivol’s title away at the end of this one.

Traders’ Tip: Gilberto Ramirez to beat Dmitry Bivol @ 3/1. A £10 bet at these odds could return £40.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V LIVERPOOL- PREMIER LEAGUE – 16:30 – NOV 6

Liverpool travel to North London on Sunday afternoon for a showdown between two sides that will be hoping to keep their Top 4 ambitions going.

Spurs dropped points at home for the first time this season when they lost 2-1 to Newcastle, a result which also looks to have strengthened the Magpies hopes of disrupting the “Big Six”.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have not looked convincing outside of Anfield in the Premier League. Their 1-0 loss to a struggling Nottingham Forest side was the most recent away day disappointment for a Reds side that have picked up just two points from five matches on the road so far this season.

Even though Spurs have won just one of their last 10 home encounters with Liverpool, we find it hard to look past them bouncing back to winning ways, adding another hurdle in front of Klopp’s men in the process.

Traders’ Tip: Tottenham Hotspur to win @ 15/8. A £10 bet at these odds could return £28.75
