Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez wants to excite his fans in clash with Dmitry BivolDAZN

Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez is completely focused on his training camp ahead of his clash with WBA world light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol in Abu Dhabi on November 5 live on DAZN (excluding Russia, South Korea and MENA).

This will be Bivol's ninth title defence after beating the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Joe Smith Jr and Jean Pascal, among others.

"The preparation is going very well. We have focused on a complete training, as Bivol is a very talented fighter and I am very happy to know that the fight will be in Saudi Arabia, as I will be able to take Mexican boxing and continue to grow. I left Mexico, I conquered the United States and now I will continue to grow my followers," Ramirez in an exclusive interview with DAZN.

Ramirez believes Bivol is one of the most dangerous fighters at 175lbs, even a little more than the unified champion Artur Beterbiev who holds the three other world titles at light heavyweight.

"I'm looking forward to proving to everyone and myself that I can do it. Bivol is a tough guy and I want to show how tough Zurdo Ramirez is," Ramirez continued.

The 31-year-old Mexican is no stranger to being in high-pressure fights having once been the WBO world super middleweight champion and making five defences of his title before moving up a weight division.

Despite having an undefeated 44-0 record with 30 knockouts, Ramirez claims that he doesn't feel any pressure and instead focuses on making his fans proud of what he produces inside the ring.

"For me it's important, but not as important as giving a good fight and being remembered, that they know that every time I stepped into the ring I gave my best, that they have me on the list of the best," Ramirez concluded.
