Rapper D Smoke believes that Errol Spence Jr has the edge when he fights Manny Pacquiao.
Spence holds the IBF and WBC welterweight belts and is due to take on the Filipino senator as he gets back into the ring at 42, after a sabbatical to focus on politics.
Spence is regarded as the favorite given he is more than a decade younger than Pacquiao, but few have been willing to fully back the 31-year-old American because of his opponent’s exceptional track record over three decades.
Speaking on the DAZN Boxing Show, D Smoke explained he thought Spence would come through, but it would not be easy.
“I've got Spence by split decision,” he said.
“I don't think Spence is going to get Pacquiao out of there. It's interesting because they're both southpaw, so this stuff that they both are used to doing is going to be different.
“But I still got Spence and he's going to overpower him. I don't think he's going to get Pacquiao out of there. If you stop Pacquiao you got to put him out. But I don't see that happening because the way Spence tends to knock people out.
“He wears them down. You know what, I got Spence winning that one.”
