Heavyweight contender targets winner of Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye

Heavyweight contender targets winner of Fabio Wardley vs. David AdeleyeDAZN
The British heavyweight scene is heating up.

Frazer Clarke is aiming to secure a British title shot after overcoming the sternest test of his career earlier this month.

The 2020 Olympic Bronze medallist entered his bout with Dave Allen a significant favourite, but he endured the wrath of the referee on several occasions after hitting his opponent low before forcing Allen to stay on his stool.

With his apprenticeship seemingly out the way, Clarke is now aiming much higher and wants the winner of the proposed Fabio Wardley vs. David Adeleye Lonsdale belt clash.

The heavyweight rivals are rumoured to squaring off next month and they warmed up for their potential clash by brawling at the recent Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou press conference.

Clarke insists he’s ready for that fight next.

“I am more than ready, and I want to be next in line to fight the winner of Fabio Wardley and David Adeleye,” said Clarke when speaking in his Metro column.

“There can be no b------t now, no excuses. I will take that fight. This time, if anyone tries to pull it from me, I won’t be having it. I will be taking that fight if and when that opportunity presents itself.”
