Since beating Mairis Briedis in 2022 to become the IBF world cruiserweight champion, Jai Opetaia has quickly become a huge star in the world of boxing.
The Australian followed up the win over Briedis with two successive knockout wins over Jordan Thompson and Ellis Zorro.
With Opetaia now considered as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters, there are some in boxing who would like to see Opetaia move up to heavyweight.
One fighter which would welcome this move is the hard-hitting Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang, but he did have a warning if Opetaia does decide to operate in the division.
“When you step up from cruiserweight to heavyweight it is not only about putting on weight, there is a lot of things behind it," Zhnag told FightHype.
"I definitely would welcome him to the heavyweight family and he is going to see what heavyweight power really looks like.”
